	The Artistic Director john shévin foster, the company's Artistic Director & Executive Director, is an accomplished director in both the professional and academic arenas. Also a writer, he has penned, directed and produced throughout the United States and in Great Britain. As a scholar of theater, he holds a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Education from Shaw University and a Masters Degree and Ph.D. in Theater from New York University with additional study at Bretton Hall University in London. Professionally, he has served as Artistic Director of the Department of Dramatic Studies at Shaw University, and for eight years as the Director of Theatre at Virginia State University. He now writes and directs in New York City and serves on the faculty of New York University. He is a member of The Dramatists Guild and Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. As the Artistic Director for INNERACT he oversees all creative projects undertaken by the company, as well as maintains the high standard of excellence for which INNERACT is quickly becoming known.
